360 Degrees of 3D Fun

PARTNER Productions

Do you think about 3D printing…yourself? We are long past boxy photobooths that fit four people (maybe five if you squeeze!) Are we dating ourselves now? Today, opportunities for shareable moments at events start at GIF photo booths and green screens and go way beyond. What if your guests want something more…something tangible?

PARTNER Productions

This is where photo booths and 3D printing make magic at events. Step 1: take a 360 degree photo shareable via social media for immediate satisfaction. Step 2: wait a few weeks while the photo falls down your Insta feed. Step 3: get a package in snail mail of a 3D printed half foot model of yourself, translated pixel by pixel from the 360 degree photo (see photos above). Talk about a tangible memory!

Next time you head to an event, choose your outfit wisely because it may be immortalized forever!

Say cheese!

60 Floors Above Manhattan

fullsizeoutput_17d1.jpeg

Sometimes the stars align and timing is right to be one of the first to plan an amazing evening in Union Square Hospitality’s first-ever event space. A client looking for the ideal location for their NY launch approached #teamPARTNER the same week Bay Room opened its doors. Seriously we were the 2nd large event in the space! What did we do with this lucky timing? We brought in color, glowing furniture and covered pillars in florals!

PARTNER Productions

We did mention Bay Room is 60 floors above downtown Manhattan with oversized windows and breathtaking views, right? These windows provided the ideal branding opportunity with a stunning backdrop. Six sponsor logos each over 4 feet wide decorated a section, with the main sponsor brands located behind the stage. (see above) We didn't stop there, blue and silver balloons arched over the stage, adding a playful branding element to this important launch. Ombre uplights, a large step and repeat, and a metallic blue carpet aisle runner brought the room together. (see below)

Full of knowledge and excitement, guests traveled west as the sun set, surprised yet again by the view. Striking south, west and north (twilight) views greeted them for a celebratory cocktail reception. Giant pillars covered in floor-to-ceiling greenery with ombre accents were center stage as guests enjoyed bites from Union Square Hospitality (see top). Glowing furniture added to the ambiance as sponsor logos reflected on the windows, almost becoming a part of the skyline. (see below)

When the stars align (or even when they don't), let your imagination run wild and have all the fun you can to create an epic event.

Have some fun!

Award Season Details

HBO.jpg

Gold statues, elaborate gowns, passionate speeches. Award season is upon us! With it brings a flurry of over-the-top events that make you want to grab some popcorn while reading about every beautiful detail. Thankfully, Bizbash's "28 Splashy Decor Ideas From the Week's Biggest Parties" is a good place to start for Emmy party coverage. From feeding the masses to breathtaking venues (we see you NoMad!), we are enjoying each and every detail.

HBO - This floral carpet is the thing dreams are made of (see main photo above). Ok, maybe our dreams? HBO's Emmy party ran with the Garden of Eden theme with said carpet surrounded by lush floral designs, custom 25ft walls and art installations.

Governors Ball - Mixing things up this year, organizers decided to move away from a seated dinner (last year's was a record breaker). Instead guests enjoyed small bites while mixing and mingling "under the stars" (over 28,000 LEDs hung overhead-pictured below). With a staff of more than 250 chefs, 20 executive chefs, 50 bartenders and 600 servers this was certainly a well-oiled machine.

Hulu - Lush velvet, branded gold accents and vending machines- we expect nothing less from The NoMad and Hulu. Oh did we mention the late night burgers? What a party!

Whether you fall in love with a carpet or a couture dress on the red carpet, remember, it's all in the details!

Here's to award season!

Crazy Rich Logistics

PARTNER Productions

It is no secret that we have seen (more than once) and LOVED Crazy Rich Asians. What is not to love? Sweeping views of Singapore, beautiful Asian representation (long overdue), stellar acting, universal themes and over-the-top events! Those crazy rich events got us thinking, what would it take to produce a bachelor party on a cargo ship? (Doesn't everyone think logistics while snacking on popcorn?)

Haven't seen the movie and don't know what we are talking about? It's all good. What do most movies centered around a wedding have? A crazy Bachelor Party. With "Crazy Rich" in the movie title, we knew this would be unforgettable. The photo above shows how crazy you can go if you have the imagination and the budget! While the party in this film was actually created on a parking lot, it certainly got us thinking...

PARTNER Productions

The average length of a cargo ship is 400m with a width of roughly 59m (Picture ~8 football fields). Can you imagine all of the fun you could pack into that space? Pools, a Rolls Royce DJ booth, a casino, climbing wall, basketball courts, dance floors, the opportunities really are endless. But what does a planner think of? Where is the kitchen? Where are guests sleeping? What are the emergency evacuation plans? What is the legal capacity? What permits are needed in the South China Sea? Who is cleaning up all of the confetti? Are guest arriving by yacht or chopper? Do our radios work out there? How many days in advance can we deliver to the ship? What are the insurance requirements? Seriously, we could go on and on.

PARTNER Productions

One thing is certain, it is not a good idea to let your client shoot fireworks from the deck! Don't get the reference? See Crazy Rich Asians NOW!

Go see the #1 movie in America already!
