To coincide with the release of the PISA test results, OECD launched a global collaborative learning platform. The digital platform allows teachers all over the world access to important data. A crucial part of this platform was the launch of a series of case studies. Representing America's "global good practices cases" BASIS Scottsdale was the scene for this case study. Following a tight schedule, filming began in the wee hours of the morning before students arrived on campus. Two award-winning teachers spoke about their methods before the founders of BASIS passionately spoke about the institution and education. Filming moved to the classroom to capture the dynamics between teacher and student at BASIS Scottsdale. The day ended with the crew filming B-roll around the school to round out the case study.
